CARMEL, Ind. – Merchants Bank announces the hiring of Jim Wilson as a Mortgage Loan Originator for Merchants Mortgage, a division of Merchants Bank. Wilson adds to the growing Illinois mortgage team based out of the company’s Oak Brook office.
Wilson brings more than 30 years of experience in the banking and mortgage finance industry, having held leadership roles at institutions including Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, DHI Mortgage, and U.S. Bank. He also founded and led his own independent brokerage firm, The Mortgage Resource Inc., where he managed business development, originations, operations, and client relationships.
Boasting a track record of building strong portfolios and delivering high customer satisfaction, Wilson’s depth of management experience and ability to execute strategic plans have amplified his individual and team success throughout his career. As a Mortgage Loan Originator with Merchants Bank, Wilson will advise current and prospective customers on their home financing needs. With his extensive knowledge of mortgage origination and leveraging his existing network throughout Illinois, he will be a valuable asset to both customers and the bank as a whole.
