This is the sixth consecutive year our company has been selected to this prestigious list!

Since 2006, the annual Best Places to Work in Indiana program, created by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group (BCG), has recognized companies around the state that display sustained excellence. To determine the winners, companies from across Indiana entered a two-part survey competition. The first section of the survey consists of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, while the second part entails an employee survey to measure the overall employee engagement and satisfaction. The final survey analysis, conducted by BCG, determines the winning companies recognized on the annual Best Places to Work in Indiana list.
The Best Places to Work honor comes after Merchants Bancorp received national recognition from S&P Global Market Intelligence as one of the top performing community banks nationally with assets between $3 billion and $10 billion. Merchants was listed as #3 in the nation, the highest rated Indiana bank on the list. Additionally, Merchants Capital earned high-ranking positions on the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) 2020 Commercial/Multifamily Originator Listing – where we ranked #4 in multifamily affordable lending and #1 for our originating office location in Indianapolis.
