Merchants Bank and Merchants Capital are thrilled to celebrate the recognition of three members of leadership within this year’s Indiana 250 list. Created and curated by IBJ Media – the parent company of The Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside Indiana Business, and Indiana Lawyer – the annual list recognizes the 250 most influential business and community leaders across Indiana.

This is the first year that Michael Dunlap, President and CEO of Merchants Bank, has been named to the Indiana 250. Merchant's Capital President and CEO Michael Dury returns to the list for the third consecutive year, while Michael Petrie, Chairman and Co-Founder of Merchants Bank, is recognized for the fifth consecutive year.

Each year, IBJ Media editors evaluate nominees based on their professional achievements, community involvement, and influential impact. The selection process includes extensive research and consultation with leaders at the local, state, and community levels. The 250 selected honorees are categorized into 10 industries. Merchants’ leadership is recognized within the financial and business services category.
