Chief Financial Officer
Sean Sievers joined Merchants Bank as Chief Financial Officer in September 2024, bringing over 25 years of executive financial leadership in the banking and mortgage industries. His extensive career includes serving as CFO at Rate (formerly Guaranteed Rate), one of the nation’s top mortgage lenders, as well as holding key leadership roles at Countrywide, Freddie Mac, SunTrust, and Citibank. Sean’s depth of experience across various financial disciplines is instrumental in supporting Merchants Bank’s strategic growth.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California Lutheran University and is a former licensed public accountant. Sean is based at Merchants Bank’s headquarters in Carmel, Indiana.
